Save For Web No Longer Supported in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015

Many of you who have upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 have found that the Save For Web option will no longer be supported and this is a problem for web designers, developers, marketers, and advertisers around the world. You can now find it under File > Export > Save For Web (Legacy).

Some users are even finding they no longer have any ability to use Save For Web at all. Others have the option, but functionally it does not perform like it did in the past for some reason. I have found it problematic to save down PNG files compared to previous versions of Photoshop. As Save For Web is no longer going to be supported, this is going to be a real problem for many of those that are concerned with website page load speeds, mobile optimization, online advertising file size restrictions and more.

An extremely nice alternative for Apple OSX is Image Alpha: http://pngmini.com/

The second for PC is called Color Quantizer: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Others/Color-quantizer.shtml

Both of these are very great temporary alternatives. It would be nice if Adobe came up with a solution to Save For Web before shelving it for the Generate function.

Let me know what you think. Have you had problems with this? I hope this helps you in the short term like it as helped me.
